The free runner of the plain lead world, the Portuguese lead offers no grip and will roam the seabed dragging baits along with it. This lead is perfect for neap tides when there is very little tide pull as it will make the best of what movement is present to search out feeding fish or to entice sitting fish to feed. This lead is a great lead for distance casting.
